b) Fairway wood

For many golfers their second longest hitting club in their golf bag is the 3 wood. This is not always the case. The 3 wood has a low loft which means some golfers do not get the height or distance they need. For these golfers the better clubs to use are the 5 and 7 woods which have a higher loft.
