Depending upon the sites, a golfer can have different types of injuries and knowing them can at least help the golfer in doing things to prevent their occurence. Thus it really pays to know more about these injuries as well as how they will be prevented.</p>
<p>Back Injuries: A golfer can have different types of back injuries such as sprain, strain, lower back pain, herniated disks, backaches and stress. In order to prevent any of these happening, a golfer should observe proper posture while playing as well as good muscle coordination during the golf swing and of course proper body conditioning before the game.</p>
<p>Shoulder Injuries: These are the common shoulder injuries that can happen to you on the course: torn rotator cuff injury, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), shoulder separation, rotator cuff tendonitis, shoulder instability and glenohumeral arthritis. Also, you can have tendinitis, bursitis and impingement syndrome which are similar and often occur together.</p>
<p>Elbow injuries: The most common among all the elbow injuries are the golfer&#8217;s elbow or the medial epicondylitis and the bursitis of the elbow which occurs over time due to repeated use of the muscles of the arm and the forearm. Moreover, related to the golfer&#8217;s elbow, tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis can also occur to any golfer for the same reasons as the two mentioned earlier.</p>
<p>Wrist and Hand Injuries: Another set of injuries which are caused by repetitive or overuse of such body parts, as well as due to accidents or falls during the game and/or by using poor equipment are the following: wrist sprains, finger fractures, wrist tendinitis, trigger finger and tenosynovitis.</p>
<p>Other Pain and Injuries: Aside from what was mentioned above, there are still more injuries that any golfer could experience such as blisters, which are fluid-filled sacs on the surface of the skin of the hands or feet; delayed-onset-muscle-soreness, also known as DOMS which can occur for about 24 to 48 hours after intensive exercise or program; knee pain, plantar fasciculitis, sprains and strains, and stress fractures.</p>
<p>Again, most of the injuries and pain associated with golf are caused by overuse of that particular part of the body, or it can be due to poor body posture and body mechanics while playing as well as an improper swing and the use of poor equipment. If in case you will suffer from a golf injury, you must make sure to follow the treatment regime of your doctor as well as his advise not to play for a specific number of days or months because to some extent failure to obey the doctor&#8217;s orders can be the end of your career in golf.</p>

When he returns he tries to play the game and his muscles remember but his mind and spirit have left and he is not able to find his way. It is not until he learns to trust what he knows in his heart that his mind talks positive and his body responds with amazing golf.</p>
<p>The game of golf is set up to be hard. With water, sand, trees, and crazy fairway layout set up on the courses you have to combat this as well as the inner voices talking to you. It is a mastery of each person to know when to listen and when simply play from a deeper place believing you can do it.</p>
<p>So you have to work on your swing. That means getting a video of your swing. See what you are doing when you move. You probably do not even know you twist your wrist until you see it. It is in the visual that the mind will accept and allow for change.</p>
<p>Finding someone that you know has a game you would like to play is a good way to not only practice but to learn as well. Follow them as they set up their shot, swing and then how they follow through. What is there mind set? How do they look at the game? Why do they succeed? Take this information and adapt it into your own life.</p>
<p>Surely the best way to improve is to practice. Take your clubs and get out to the range and to the courses and practice what you are trying to change and re learn it in your mind and heart. Feel the way a good shot feels and get familiar with that so you know when you have hit a good one. Then watch your game and scores improve.</p>

Strength is built through exercises that put tension on your muscles and cause them to stretch and contract. This can be done through resistance exercises and plyometric exercises that develop your fast twitch, or power muscles. The idea is to strengthen your core muscles of your torso because according to the Mayo Clinic &#8220;Strong core muscles make it easier to do most physical activities&#8221; and that includes golf. These are the kind of exercises that flatten your stomach and improve your posture. More importantly, this type of exercise also gives you more power for your swing and improves control and balance.</p>
<p>Another big factor in power is flexibility. It only makes sense that if you can make a longer swing, it will produce more speed. If you have the flexibility to increase your shoulder turn and make a bigger arc you are going to hit the ball further. Stretching is used to increase flexibility, but you must stretch properly. Hold your stretches for a minimum of 30 seconds for best results.</p>
<p>Golf and fitness don&#8217;t necessarily go hand in hand but good golf scores and fitness do. Aerobic exercise increases stamina and improves circulation. Strength exercise gives you more power, control, and better balance. Stretching increases your flexibility and circulation. When combined, these three types of fitness exercises are the key to improving your swing, lowering your score, avoiding injury, and enjoying the game more fully.</p>
